Issue 1: "Heating Error" Prompt
Cause: If the heating needle is not installed, the device may be unable to reach or detect the required heating condition. As a result, the device may display a “Heating Error” message.
Solution: Install the heating needle supplied with the device and restart the device for testing.
Issue 2: Red indicator cannot retract to allow gutta-percha placement.
Cause: The filling device is equipped with an internal push-rod that is used to push the gutta-percha forward during operation. The push-rod remains in the forward position after extruding gutta-percha. If not fully retracted, it occupies the loading chamber, preventing new gutta-percha from being inserted and keeping the working tip from tightening properly.
Solution: To reset the push-rod and clear the chamber: long-press the "P" button to access function settings, then short-press "P" to select "Gutta-Percha Replace". Select "YES" by short-pressing the Power button, then short press any injection button to automatically purge residual gutta-percha. Once the residual gutta-percha is purged, the device will automatically retract the push-rod to its starting position. Please refer to the step-by-step reset operation in the video at 2:30.
How do I correctly load gutta-percha and attach the heating needle?
Use tweezers to insert a gutta-percha bar into the rear opening of the needle assembly. Fit the needle onto the handpiece, hand-tighten the nut, and then use the provided wrench to turn the nut clockwise until fully secured. Slide the thermal guard sleeve over the needle base before operation.
How do I adjust temperature presets and injection speeds?
Long-press the "P" button to enter temperature settings, then short-press the Power button to cycle through the 5 preset options. Short-press "P" again to enter injection speed settings, select your preferred injection speed using the Power button, and press any Injection switch to confirm and save.
How do I purge residual gutta-percha?
Long-press "P" to access the settings menu, then short-press "P" to navigate to "Gutta-Percha Replace". Short-press the Power button to select "YES", and short-press any Injection switch. The device will automatically extrude the remaining gutta-percha.
