What should I do if my handpiece is clogged or has weak water flow?
Immerse the handpiece head in boiling water or hot water at or above 60°C (140°F) for approximately 15 minutes. After soaking, use an air gun or the 3‑way syringe on your dental unit to blow air backward through the handpiece to help clear any residual debris or blockage. This method is suitable for mild to moderate blockages. Please remove the bur and take care to avoid scalding before starting.
Will soaking in hot water damage the internal components?
No. This procedure has been validated within the product design specifications. The temperature is controlled at or above 60°C (not exceeding boiling point) and the soaking time is limited to 15 minutes, which will not harm the seals or bearings. We do recommend drying and lubricating the handpiece promptly after the procedure.
What if the blockage persists after following the steps above?

Any tips for preventing clogs in daily use?
Yes. We recommend the following routine practices: 1. Blow out the internal water lines with the 3‑way syringe immediately after each use; 2. Use a dedicated cleaning and lubricating spray on a regular basis; 3. Always use filtered cooling water to prevent impurities from entering the tubing.
