How many Build Plates and Resin Tanks do I need?

It depends on how many resins you use. For a single resin, one Build Plate and one Resin Tank are sufficient. For multiple resins, we recommend a dedicated Build Plate + Resin Tank pair for each resin type—this lets you switch materials instantly without cleaning the tank between prints.

Can I start with one set and add more later?

Absolutely. You can purchase additional Build Plates and Resin Tanks at any time as your material library grows. Start with one set and expand when needed.

Do I need to clean the tank when switching?

No—if you have a dedicated Resin Tank and Build Plate assigned to each resin. Simply swap the entire set and you're ready to print. No cleaning required.

Can I leave resin in the tank between prints?

Yes. Each Resin Tank comes with a cover to seal the resin. Under proper light management, the resin remains stable in the tank for extended periods. Before printing, just stir the resin and you're good to go.

Is this standard in dental workflows?
