Does the Woodpecker DTE D1 ultrasonic scaler have a built-in water supply?
No. The DTE D1 requires an external water source. The water supply system and quick connector are not included with the unit and may need to be purchased separately.
Why is my Woodpecker DTE D1 ultrasonic scaler not dispensing water?
The Woodpecker DTE D1 requires an external water supply and does not supply water on its own. Connect the unit to a water source, then adjust the water flow control knob to start the water flow.
How can I check whether the scaler tip is vibrating when the water supply is disconnected?
The scaler tip can be checked for vibration without connecting the water supply. Following the manufacturer's instructions, gently touch the tip to a suitable hard surface, such as metal or tooth enamel, to check for vibration. The absence of water flow alone does not mean the scaler tip is not vibrating.
